We will have updates available on the website and on this subreddit on how to obtain alpha keys. We're not yet ready to invite any alpha testers yet, but our talented developers are working day in and day out to give alpha access. How do I become an alpha tester? Where do I get a key? We can not say how much progress we've made, but we can say we are happy to invite alpha users to test the game and try it out soon - testing for bugs while we continue the progress of completing the 10 year old Toontown game. We have many talented developers who understand Toontown inside and out, who are working on both the core engine and the Toontown Server AI. How much progress do you have on the game's completion? Our developers will be modifying the client and server and do as much as we can to prevent injections, and will be heavy on detecting any script kiddies from injecting code. Understand that Toontown is 10 years old, although they had a talented developers their code became faulty, and users found ways to manipulate the client. Our developers understand a lot of the low-end code of both the client and the server, and are working on a very strong core back-end. What will you guys be doing about hackers? We want to have a safe child environment as Disney intended, so you will be required to follow the same rules Disney had in place. Will the rules of Disney's version be the same in Toontown Rewritten? Although some of you may see this as a con, think of it as a clean slate - being able to just relive Toontown from the beginning with everyone else. Just like everyone else who is joining the game, you will have to re-create your toon from scratch. Understand when we open to the public, not everything will be complete as we continue to develop the game. You'll log in and just get a breath of nostalgia from the game. From the same cog battle system, to the fishing at your estate. Everything Toontown was will be replicated as before. What is Toontown Rewritten? Will it be exactly like Toontown?
